Hey everyone! I'm so excited to finally share my latest digital art illustration, featuring my beloved furry character, Vulpus Fennik! I've been working on this piece for a while, and it feels great to see him come to life. I've always been drawn to fennec foxes; their big ears and playful nature are just so captivating, making them perfect muses for art. Deciding on the name 'Vulpus Fennik' felt right, blending the scientific 'Vulpus' for fox with 'Fennik' to highlight his adorable fennec qualities, and it perfectly encapsulates this unique furry character. For this particular piece, I wanted to capture a moment of peaceful contemplation. You can see Vulpus Fennik sitting comfortably on lush green grass, leaning against a sturdy tree, just soaking in the day. I spent a lot of time on his design, focusing on his distinctive light brown and white fur to really make him pop. I imagined him as someone who enjoys a touch of subtle rebellion, so I gave him a cool studded collar, which I think adds a unique flair to his otherwise calm demeanor. He's also wearing simple white pants and a white top, keeping his look clean and letting his natural charm shine. The background was important for setting the mood. I went for a serene outdoor scene, with a bright light blue sky dotted with fluffy clouds.
