The DARK SIDE of NFL Pro Era

It’s not about hating on the game, because honestly, it’s groundbreaking for #VRFootball. But sometimes, those small issues can really impact the overall immersion and fun, right? One of the biggest head-scratchers for me, as hinted in the OCR, is the 'inability to turn off where it will only throw to whoever's highlighted.' This mechanic, while seemingly designed to simplify things, often feels like it strips away player agency. Imagine trying to make a nuanced read or a tricky pass to a less obvious receiver, only for the game to force your hand. It can lead to frustrating turnovers and really takes away from the strategic depth you'd expect in an #NFLProEra title. I've had countless moments where I'm yelling at my headset, 'No, not him!' It makes it hard to truly master your passing yards and feels very restrictive, especially when you're trying to replicate proper football strategies. Then there are the 'practice modes.' While having them is great, I wish they were more robust. The current setup often feels like it just scratches the surface. When the game dictates certain aspects of your play, it's easy to make mistakes that feel out of your control. This can really pull you out of the immersive VR experience. While the game is 'mostly perfect' in many regards, these 'dark side' elements are significant enough to warrant discussion.
