What Surrender Taught Me 💕
Dear Virtuous Woman,
Before God can fill your hands, you have to open them.
Surrender starts when you get tired of striving and finally choose to trust.
Here’s what surrender has taught me💫
You can’t receive with clenched fists.
There’s power in letting go and allowing God to handle what you were never meant to carry alone.
Surrender becomes easier when you realize this truth..
You can’t yield to a God you don’t trust,
and you can’t trust a God you don’t truly know. That’s why intimacy with Him always comes before obedience to Him.
So, get to know God for yourself.
Spend time in His Word. Learn His ways and watch how your peace changes.
Ask yourself…💫
How would my life change if I took time to understand the ways of my Heavenly Father?

Surrendering to God is a profound journey that extends beyond just the act of letting go—it is about building a deep, trusting relationship with Him. When you open your hands and heart, you allow God to fill your life with His peace and purpose. This process often begins when you grow weary of fighting life's challenges alone and finally choose to place your trust in God's plan. The scripture from Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still,” beautifully encapsulates what surrender means: a call to stop striving on our own and to rest in God's strength. This isn't about weakness but about recognizing that some burdens are not ours to bear. The strength in surrender lies in the silence—moments spent in prayer and reflection where you wait patiently for God’s timing without pushing for immediate answers. Experiencing God’s love deeply transforms how a believer faces fears and uncertainties. When you know that you are safe in His hands, letting go of control becomes less intimidating. This intimate knowledge of God leads to obedience, not out of obligation, but from a heart full of trust and love. It’s important to remember that surrender involves active steps: spending time in God’s Word, getting to understand His character, and watching how your inner peace shifts as your faith deepens. This process redefines your relationships, your perspective on challenges, and how you walk in your daily life. Joining a faith community can also be a vital part of this journey. Sharing experiences, encouragement, and teachings helps believers grow together in faith, femininity, and preparing for the roles God calls them to, such as marriage. Living out surrender is an ongoing path that flourishes with support and fellowship. Whenever surrender feels difficult, remember it’s a sign of deep transformation—a movement away from striving and toward trusting, from fear to faith. Embracing vulnerability and allowing God to handle what you were never meant to carry alone leads to a richer, more fulfilling walk with Him.
