Can you be trusted?🎀

In my personal journey of faith, I've come to deeply appreciate the importance of stewardship as a foundation for trustworthiness. Phase 3—where God tests your maturity discreetly—is a time filled with silent challenges. It’s not about grand gestures but the day-to-day responsibility of managing what you already possess, whether that be gifts, relationships, or opportunities. Stewardship is truly a lifestyle. It begins well before any external signs of success, such as engagements, public platforms, or accolades. For example, before receiving any form of recognition, I learned that being trusted with small tasks and showing consistent integrity made the biggest difference in how others saw my character. This phase can feel like a quiet test because there are no immediate rewards or applause. However, it is in these moments that your true readiness is shaped. The Proverbs 14:1 wisdom reminds me that a wise woman builds her house with care and discernment, which resonates deeply with the idea of stewardship. It involves patiently nurturing what has been entrusted to you, rather than rushing for more. If you’re asked “Can you be trusted?” the honest answer comes from reflecting on how you handle your current blessings and responsibilities. Are you faithful with the small things? Do you seek to grow in authority by wisdom and humility rather than ambition alone? These questions helped me shift from just asking God for more to becoming competent and reliable with what I already have. Embracing stewardship as a spiritual discipline has led me to greater peace and authenticity in my faith walk. It’s a gradual process—being willing to serve and manage quietly prepares us for the greater roles God may call us to in the future. This journey is not just about external achievements but about inner growth in becoming the trustworthy person God can entrust with His promises and plans.
