Some Women Don’t Fail Because Love Was Missing…✨

Some women don’t fail because love was missing.

They fail because preparation was missing.

Marriage takes more than feelings.

It requires:

• Emotional Maturity

• Healing

• Discipline

• Order

• God at the center

Many desire marriage, but few prepare for the weight of it.

Virtuous Woman, don’t just pray for marriage. Prepare for it.

Which one do you think damages marriages the most…Immaturity, lack of healing, poor discipline, or keeping God out of it?

... Read moreIn my own experience and through conversations with many women, I've seen how vital preparation is before entering into marriage. It's not just about the love or excitement leading up to the wedding day; it's about building a strong foundation that can withstand life's inevitable challenges. Emotional maturity, for example, plays a huge role. Couples who can communicate effectively, handle conflicts calmly, and support each other's growth tend to create much healthier relationships. Healing is another essential layer. If we carry unresolved wounds or past hurts, those often resurface and impact how we relate to our partner. Taking time for personal healing before marriage can prevent repeating harmful patterns and promote a more compassionate partnership. Discipline and order might sound unromantic, but they contribute directly to stability. Managing finances responsibly, setting boundaries, and creating rituals of connection build consistency and trust. Most importantly, placing God at the center introduces a sense of purpose and guidance that many find indispensable. Spiritual connection helps couples align their values and navigate difficulties with faith. I encourage anyone considering marriage not only to dream about love but to actively prepare through self-reflection, seeking support for healing, practicing discipline, and deepening their spiritual life. These steps transform a hopeful desire into lasting union. Remember the wisdom from Proverbs 24:27, “Put your outdoor work in order; get your fields ready; after that, build your house.” Preparing well protects your marriage and sets you both up for fulfillment and joy.
