How I edit using Al in adobe photoshop

Here is how I edit my photos using simple AI featured in the adobe photoshop app for iPad. This can be used in photoshop for desktop too. This feature is overall helpful, however AI isn't always perfect in understanding what you are asking it to generate,so don't feel discourage if you have to retry to get the result you want.

... Read moreAfter getting so many questions about my AI editing process, I wanted to share even more about how I leverage these incredible tools in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom! It's truly changed the way I approach my photos, letting me achieve results that used to take hours. When I start editing, I always begin in Adobe Lightroom. Before jumping into any fancy AI, I make sure my base image is solid. This means carefully adjusting lighting, saturation, exposure, and contrast to get the perfect foundation. Lightroom's AI capabilities aren't just for subtle tweaks; the Denoise feature is a lifesaver for grainy photos, and the advanced masking tools, powered by AI, make selecting skies or subjects incredibly precise. I often use these to make targeted adjustments before ever sending the photo to Photoshop. Once my photo has a great foundation, that's when Photoshop's AI truly shines, especially with features like Generative Fill. The original article touched on adding elements, but let's dive deeper! Understanding how to select the subject accurately is paramount. Photoshop's intelligent selection tools make this so easy, often just a single click. From there, I frequently invert the selection if I want to work on the background or surrounding elements rather than the subject itself. This is super handy if you're trying to achieve a specific atmospheric change or, as shown in the original example, adding lush, colorful flowers to sparse green foliage. But Generative Fill isn't just for adding. Have you ever wondered how to perfectly remove an unwanted object or even a person from your photo? That's where this tool becomes a magician! Instead of prompting to add something, you can simply select an area and leave the prompt box empty, letting AI intelligently fill in the background, or type something like "remove person" for targeted results. This is how I've cleaned up so many of my travel photos, making distractions vanish as if they were never there. When you see the "Create generative layer" pop-up, remember that you'll get several variations. Don't be afraid to cycle through them and fine-tune details until it looks absolutely perfect. Sometimes combining elements from different variations can give you the best outcome. I also find the object selection tool portrait incredibly useful for isolating people or specific items for enhancement. Whether it's making a quick photoshop make selection to brighten someone's face or isolating a product for a cleaner background, AI-powered selections save so much time. Remember, AI isn't always perfect, as the original post mentioned. Sometimes the first attempt at a Generative Fill might look a little off. Don't get discouraged! Try rephrasing your prompt, making your selection area slightly different, or even generating a few more variations. The key is experimentation. Always compare your 'BEFORE' and 'AFTER' images to track your progress and see the incredible transformation. By using layers, you can always go back and tweak things without damaging your original image. This non-destructive workflow is a game-changer! Keep exploring these tools – you'll be amazed at what you can create.
