April Skin Update
I’m no dermatologist but I think I have my skin down to a science! Personally for my skin type I have:
• Oily
• Acne prone
• Sensitive skin
What my routine has been is washing my face with “Dial renew and refresh” bar at night and when overly oily in the morning!
I use 0.025 Tretinoin (Dermatologist prescribed) once max twice a week.
For restore moisture I use “Bio oil” and “Vanicream” every night and korean face masks after I wash my face if i’m feeling extra dry! And that’s it!

Skincare is a vital aspect of personal care and well-being, especially for those with specific skin concerns such as acne and sensitivity. Having an effective routine can greatly reduce breakouts and improve skin texture. Incorporating dermatologist-approved treatments like Tretinoin can effectively combat acne and promote healing. Tretinoin, a topical retinoid, is well-known for its ability to accelerate cell turnover, thereby reducing both active acne and dark marks over time. However, it’s crucial to use it cautiously to avoid irritation, particularly for sensitive skin types. Starting with a lower concentration like 0.025% is wise, using it sparingly to see how your skin reacts. Moisturizing is equally important, especially after using treatments like Tretinoin which can dry the skin. Products containing ingredients like glycerin and hyaluronic acid are excellent for hydrating the skin without being overly greasy. Bio Oil, renowned for its scar-reducing properties, can also help with skin texture and hydration, making it a great addition to a nighttime regimen. Additionally, adding Korean face masks further boosts moisture levels and provides revitalizing benefits, especially during dry seasons or after long days. Beyond product selection, consistency in your skincare routine is key. Cleansing your face regularly and using the correct products can lead to magnificent results over time. Pay attention to how your skin responds to different products, and don’t hesitate to customize your routine. Skincare is personal—what works for one person may not work for another, so listen to your skin’s needs and adjust as necessary. Incorporate these practices to pave the way for healthier, clearer skin.
