I don't wanna be a control freak but I'm worried..

My bf and I are long-distance, and he’s got a female friend back home they hang out with all the time. The thing is, they’re always one on one going to restaurants, arcades, even sitting in his car at the beach. Those spots feel lowkey datey. I told him it makes me uncomfortable but I don’t wanna control who he’s friends with. So I mostly just suck it up, even though we’re already apart.

He texts me about their plans, but when I suggested they hang in a group instead he always has an excuse, then changes the subject. Then his friend’s mom texted him to help plan her surprise party, turns out it’s on my birthday. Right after he visited me, he jumped to plan her party but forgot mine entirely. Not even a mention of making plans for it. We’ve been dating for so long, he knows my birthday by heart.

I don’t know how to set boundaries, even make him see this feels off. I want to talk to him about my feelings, but I don't know where to start?

sounds like you already set a boundary and now you have to “enforce it” and if he can’t work with your boundaries then he’s not the one🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m worried…
