Parking’s a problem in big cities and expensive!!!
I bought a car last year because my commute’s 45 minutes each way, I thought it'd skip the crowded bus. But it’s been a headache right now. First, parking’s a nightmare. I circle my office for 20 minutes every morning just to find a spot. And when I do? $30 a day. That’s $600 a month, which is way more than I budgeted.
Then there’s insurance ($180/month), gas ($50/week), and last week’s $400 repair for a random issue. It’s bleeding me dry. Before the car, I took the bus and Ubered when I was running late. It's way cheaper and no stress about dents or tickets. People act like a car’s a “grown-up win” but for me it’s just bills piling up.
Yeah, it’s nice for weekend trips, but in the city? It’s not convenience, it’s a weight. Do you think city cars are even worth it?
