Memorial Day Is…
Some people see Memorial Day as a day off…
But for many veterans and military families, it’s a day filled with memories, pain, gratitude, and reflection. 🇺🇸
It’s remembering the warriors who sacrificed everything for people they would never meet.
The heroes who missed birthdays, holidays, and precious moments with their families… and the ones who never made it home at all.
Today is not about politics.
It’s not about division.
It’s about honor.
Honor for the men and women who wrote a blank check payable up to and including their lives so we could live free.
And the truth is… most of us can never fully repay that debt.
So today, don’t just say “Happy Memorial Day.”
Take a moment of silence.
Pray for the Gold Star families.
Fly the flag proudly.
Teach your children what sacrifice really means.

I remember feeling both pride and sadness—pride in the bravery of those heroes and sadness knowing some families would never have their loved ones return home. One tradition I highly recommend is taking a moment of silence—just a quiet pause to think about what freedom really means and the price paid to secure it. Another meaningful gesture is flying the flag with respect and teaching children about the importance of sacrifice. It helps instill gratitude and understanding in the younger generation, so they appreciate the freedoms we enjoy today. Memorial Day is not about politics or division; it’s about unity and honor.
