One of my passion is writing poetry

2025/1/9 Edited to

... Read moreMy journey with poetry isn't just a hobby; it's a profound part of who I am, a constant source of inspiration and resilience. There's a unique kind of fire that burns within, urging me to put pen to paper, to craft words that resonate not just with others, but deeply with my own soul. This isn't always easy, as any creative path has its trials. There are days when the words feel elusive, when self-doubt creeps in, making it feel like "even when things go all wrong," the muse has simply vanished. But it's in these moments that my true passion for poetry truly shines, reminding me why I "will never give up." What truly fuels this unwavering passion? For me, it's the sheer power of expression. Poetry offers a sanctuary where I can explore the depth of my emotions, articulate complex thoughts, and find beauty even in life's struggles. It’s a way to process the world, to make sense of experiences, and to connect on a level that everyday conversation often can’t reach. When "the rain may fall, the winds may blow" in my life, poetry becomes my anchor, providing a steadying force. I find immense strength in turning vulnerability into verse, transforming personal challenges into universal truths. This act of creation is incredibly empowering, helping me to stand "up strong" against whatever life throws my way. Maintaining this passion requires dedication, especially when the creative well feels dry. I've learned that consistent engagement is key. I try to immerse myself in poetry daily, whether that’s reading works by my favorite poets, journaling my thoughts, or simply observing the world around me with a poet's eye. Inspiration can strike at any moment, from a fleeting thought to a powerful emotion, and I make sure to capture those sparks. This consistent effort reinforces the idea that "I'll keep on going, I'll push" through any creative blocks. I also believe in the power of an inner resolve, a quiet faith that "God has a plan," and that my journey with words is part of something larger. This belief acts as a powerful motivator, ensuring that "if I fall, I'll rise again." Poetry is a journey of continuous growth and discovery. Each poem is a step on "no path" predefined, but one I forge myself, "step by steep." It’s about celebrating small victories, like finding the perfect metaphor or completing a challenging piece. It's also about embracing the imperfections, understanding that not every poem will be a masterpiece, but every attempt refines the craft and strengthens the spirit. My ultimate goal is to "reach the end" of each creative endeavor with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that I've given it my all. This persistent pursuit of poetic expression is deeply tied to my sense of purpose. "My destiny's waiting," and I believe poetry is a crucial part of fulfilling it. It’s this profound connection that makes me confident that "nothing can stop what God has" intended for my creative path. For anyone who feels a similar pull towards poetry, I encourage you to embrace it fully. Let your passion guide you. Don't be afraid to experiment, to share your voice, and most importantly, to "never give up" on your unique creative journey. Remember, the most profound poetry often comes from the deepest parts of ourselves, from the moments when we choose to "move forward day by day," trusting in the process and the power of our own words.

Poetry and Witchcraft
Amanda Lovelace has been my favorite poet author for years. Finding out she is actually a witch was INCREDIBLE. I’ve also recently acquired her witchcraft book, which I’ll share my review on later. But as for witchcraft and poetry, I’m a strong believer that they may go hand and hand at times.
