「パワポでベン図を作りたいけど、図形の円を2つ3つ重ねて調整するのが地味に大変…」と思って、私はSmartArtで作る方法に落ち着きました。結論、ベン図はSmartArtの“基本ベン図”を使うのが一番早いです。資料作りの時短にもなります。 ■PowerPointでベン図を作る基本手順（SmartArt） 1) ［挿入］タブ → ［SmartArt］を選択 2) 一覧から「関係」系（または近いカテゴリ）を開き、下の方にある「基本ベン図」を選択 3) OKを押すとベン図が表示されます 4) 左側のテキストウィンドウ（［テキスト］）に入力すると各円に反映されます ■円（要素）の数を増やしたい／減らしたい ベン図は「2つの共通点」だけでなく「3つの共通点」もよく使いますよね。SmartArtなら、テキストの行数を増減するだけで円の数も連動して変えられます。私は最初、図形をコピペして位置合わせしていて“非効率”でした…。SmartArtにしてからはここが一気にラクになりました。 ■色を見やすくするコツ（会議資料でそのまま使える） ・重なり部分が暗くなりすぎる場合：［SmartArtのデザイン］→ 色の変更で淡い配色に ・文字が読みにくい場合：円の塗りを薄め、文字色を黒に寄せる ・強調したい円だけ色を濃く：比較対象が一瞬で伝わります ■「ベン図とは？」を一言で説明するなら ベン図は、複数の要素の「共通点（重なり）」と「違い（重ならない部分）」を同時に見せる図です。業務だと、A案とB案の共通要件／差分、部署ごとの役割分担、ターゲットの重複などの説明に使うと刺さりやすいです。 ■私がよくやる配置（伝わる順番） スライドでは、円の中に“特徴”、重なり部分に“共通点（結論）”を書くと読み手が迷いません。最後に下へ1行で「だから何をする？」の結論を書くと、ベン図が“きれいなだけ”で終わらなくなります。 この方法で作ると、pptのベン図作り方で迷う時間が減って、共通点の説明が一気にスムーズになりました。
