Progress of ‘Signature Bridge’ project
Signature Bridge will cost $840 million and still under construction, it taking shape in downtown Miami
Costs nearly a billion dollars including long term financing. BTW it does nothing, it is not a real bridge, does not help traffic, or house the homeless etc... It does provide hundreds of million in profits to builders and everyone they paid off to get contract. So enjoy it, it is pretty until it gets covered in graffiti.
Time will tell if it was a good or bad project... how the green space gets used, if traffic congestion gets resolved, if the bridge lighting even works right, etc. The lighting on bridge columns of 826 and 836 interchange are whacked out... some don't light in same color as the others, some don't turn on at all, very poor light maintenance and integration there.
