Should I worry she’s not saying "mama" yet?
Is this her first attempt at words or just random babbling? Her pediatrician says she’s hitting milestones, but I’m paranoid. Should I respond by repeating it back or associating it with objects?

she’s gonna learn on her own time moma. Every baby is different, and if she’s pointing she’s probably telling you she wants whatever she’s pointing. Ask “dog?” when she points to the dog, “food” when she points to food and tell her what type of food it is like Banana. Do what you think is best for your baby, and it’s ok to worry. You’re doing just fine
I put Sesame Street on in the back ground so they can hear talking and you can teach your kid how to at least point to what they want/need. Some people I know tech their kids a bit of sign language for things like juice or more
