Deadly Duo
Hey For Honor fam! If you're looking to truly master the Peacekeeper, you've come to the right place. She might seem tricky at first, with her low health, but her lightning-fast attacks and incredible bleed damage make her one of the deadliest assassins in the game. I’ve spent countless hours in the training arena and on the battlefield, and I’m here to share my personal insights on how to really shine with her. First off, Peacekeeper thrives on aggression and mix-ups. Her core strength is her bleed. Every time you land a stab – whether it's from a dagger cancel after a heavy, a successful guard break, or the follow-up after a parry – you're applying bleed. This passive damage is crucial. Don't always go for the full heavy attack; often, a heavy into a dagger cancel stab is more effective for applying bleed and maintaining pressure. Learn her zone attack, too; it's quick and can catch opponents off guard. For defense, Peacekeeper's dodge attacks are your best friend. Her side dodge heavy is excellent for punishing slow attacks and creating space, while her dodge forward heavy can be used to close gaps or interrupt. Mastering parries and then going for the guard break stab is a huge source of bleed. Remember to utilize her fast recovery to quickly get back into neutral after your own attacks. When it comes to objective play, Peacekeeper is fantastic for stealth and quick captures. Her speed allows you to quickly move around the map, capturing zones and ganking unsuspecting enemies. If you see a notification like 'DEFENDTAK' or 'DEFENDTOK,' Peacekeeper's mobility lets you get there fast to either reinforce or clear the point. Just be mindful of crowd control or multi-enemy situations, as she can be overwhelmed. Focus on picking off isolated targets or helping teammates with quick bursts of damage. Capturing zones and getting those 'NEUTRA' points can quickly add '+100 pts' to your score, and PK is perfect for it. One crucial tip is to manage your stamina. Peacekeeper can be very stamina-hungry with her rapid attacks and feints. Practice feinting your heavies into guard breaks or dagger cancels to confuse your opponent, but always keep an eye on your bar. Knowing when to disengage and regenerate stamina is just as important as knowing when to attack. Finally, don't be afraid to experiment with your feats. Depending on the game mode, you might want to focus on healing, damage boosts, or even stealth buffs. Peacekeeper's 'Thick Blood' feat can be particularly strong against other bleed heroes like Shaman or Nobushi, allowing you to counter their own unique mechanics. With practice, you’ll be a force to be reckoned with, truly embodying the "deadly duo" spirit, even when playing solo!
