Happy first day of March, y’all!
Happy first day of March, y’all!
New month, new energy, and you know what that means, time to say "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!" first thing this morning for good luck! It’s an old folk tradition, and while no one knows exactly where it started, I figure a little extra luck never hurts.
Since it’s the first of the month, I’ll also be refreshing my spells, my prosperity and protection spells cast last month that needs strengthening, I’ll reinforce, and anything that’s no longer serving me, I’ll release. I like to light a fresh candle, update my altar, and set new intentions for the weeks ahead. With the turning of the Wheel, March is all about transition, winter’s last breath and spring’s first whisper.
So here’s to a month of renewal, growth, and maybe even a little luck! Did y’all remember to say Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit this morning?
As March unfolds, it welcomes a time of renewal and growth, marking a shift in seasons. The phrase 'Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit' is steeped in folklore and is said to bring luck when said on the first of the month. Engaging in rituals such as lighting fresh candles and setting intentions aligns with the natural rhythm of life, inviting positivity and change. Many cultures regard early March as a pivotal time for personal reflection and goal-setting, as the days lengthen and the air warms. This period is not only about the physical change of seasons but also a time for spiritual growth. By harnessing the energy of spring, individuals are encouraged to evaluate their past intentions, reinforce what benefits them, and release what no longer serves a purpose in their lives. For those wishing to enhance their practices, consider journal prompts to clarify desires or create vision boards. Incorporating the spirit of growth, one might also focus on surrounding themselves with nature, welcoming the first blossoms, and appreciating small changes in their environment. March is indeed a month of potential, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the beauty of transition.
