Zeekr recharge faster than refueling!! 7 minutes 80%
Zeekr 001 fast charging megawatts from 4% to 80% within 7 minutes ⚡⚡. Charging technology is now as fast as refueling. 🤩🤩
.
Electric cars (EVs) have become a symbol of the technology of the future, but a major problem that has always remained an obstacle is "charging time," because even though many electric trains have longer running distances every year, having to wait for a 30-minute or hour charge is still a weakness that makes many people reluctant to switch to full-body electricity.
.
But most recently, Zeekr 001, a Chinese electric train, turned the game around by charging from 4% to 80% in less than seven minutes, almost as fast as filling a tank.
.
In the 2024 model year, Zeekr used to create a buzz with an 800-volt charging system that can receive 500 kilowatts of power, charging from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes.
.
But most recently, Zeekr is once again transcending that limit in 2025 with "Megawatt Charging" technology that can get up to 1,321 kilowatts of power in a video clip being published by Zeekr through Felix Hamer's channel. The new Zeekr 001 car, which uses a 95 kilowatt-hour lithium ferrophosphate (LFP) battery, has been put on charge on the camp's new charging stand.
.
With the charging head plugged in for just a few seconds, the current immediately surged beyond 500 kilowatts and peaked at 1,321 kilowatts with a voltage of 894 volts and a current of 1,488 amperes.
.
These numbers are the exact equivalent of the power of a level generator, and what is remarkable is that the system can manage this huge energy without any heating or instability.
.
Zeekr 001 takes just 1 second to ascend from 4% to 10%, just 3 minutes to reach 50%, and 6 and a half minutes to reach 80%.
.
If charged 100%, it only takes 13 minutes and 23 seconds, which gives a driving distance of about 710 kilometers (according to CLTC), or about 400 kilometers according to EPA standards.
.
The success of Zeekr 001 is not just due to the car itself, but due to China's development of a "megawatt charger" infrastructure that can emit four times more electricity than conventional charging systems.
While the U.S. and Europe also use charging stations up to 350 kilowatts, China has already installed hundreds of stations that support 1,500 kilowatts across the country.
.
This means that the long journey in China on the electric train is no longer "different from the oil car." The seven-minute stop is almost fully energized.
.
What makes this success even more remarkable is that Zeekr uses a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, a chemistry that is often considered "safe but slow to charge." However, Zeekr uses a new type of cell arrangement and heat dissipation technology, including a BMS system developed by Geely Intelligent Power, allowing it to extract huge amounts of power without overheating the cells. 🤩🤩
