GAC Aion opens the pre-cell "Aion i60," a new electric SUV with an EREV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) and a BEV, with a starting price of 126,800 yuan, or about 5.8 lakh baht for the EREV model, and 119,800 yuan, or about 5.5 lakh baht for the all-electric model.

The Aion i60 is positioned as a five-seater compact SUV. The front design comes with dual LED headlights with Daytime Running Light lines connected in the middle of the grille, supplemented by large air traps, and a front projector for projecting certain logos or images on the street.

The body side has similar lines to the Aion V model, but has larger dimensions, with a body size of 4,685 mm long by 1,854 mm wide by 1,660 mm high and a wheelbase of 2,775 mm longer than the Aion V to 105 mm with semi-hidden door handles in the body and blue flammable side mirrors for automated driving assistance; the wheel sections are available in 18- and 19-inch sizes.

The tail side uses a double-layer long draped taillight design, with a fluorescent AION logo, and a blue auxiliary light in the taillight assembly, with an electric taillight designed with a low lower edge, to ease loading.

The cabin uses two-tone tones, divided on the bottom by metal decorative lines. Available in three colors: Oatmeal White, Warm Velvet Light Brown and Tahiti Gray with 32-color Adjustable Ambient Light, Oval Steering Wheel with Scroll Wheel Sliding Button, Rectangular Floating Center Screen, and Digital Display for Drivers. Under the console are two wireless charging stands.

The Aion i60 comes with the GAC GSD Intelligent Driving Assistance System, supports NDA (Navigation Driving Assist) and HPA (Intelligent Parking Assist) that can help change lanes or drive in and out of freeways.

The EREV (Extended Distance with Engine) model uses a 1.5 litre petrol engine, acts as a generator, up to 74 kW power, the main electric motor provides up to 180 kW (241 hp).

The pure electric driving distance (CLTC) 210 km supports 3C fast charging, can be charged from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes. The total distance when fully refueled is 1,240 km. The oil consumption rate in the electric charging-sustaining mode is only 5.5 liters / 100 km.

The pure electric version (BEV) is available in two motor powers of 150 kW (Model TZ180XTD3A01) and 165 kW (Model TZ180XYXOF51). The battery is available in three sizes, namely 47.829 kWh, runs 400 km, the 62.268 kWh version runs 530 km and the 75.26 kWh version runs 650 km.
