FAITH: Put on your armor!
Never forget that the things happening in the world or that battle against your mind and flesh is a fight of your faith against the enemy.
The Bible already told us we are in a battle! We have an armor that we must put on every day and use it. We are not just sitting back relaxing but actively using the armor.
We are actively using the shield of faith. We are actively using the Sword of the Spirit that is the Word of God to combat the enemy speaks to us to get us to change our stance, our outlook, ultimately our faith.
If he can get your faith. That’s what he’s after. He’s not even after your blessings he’s after your faith. Because in you being reminded who God is, is you placing your faith and ultimately your trust in him.
The moment we diverge from that, we give in to the schemes of the enemy by relying on our feelings, relying on our senses. What we see, feel think or hear.
These are in direct opposition to faith because they operate in the kingdom of this world and not in the Kingdom of God!
Put on your full armor!

Wow, reading about putting on our armor really resonated with me. It’s so true, we are constantly in a battle, a 'vicious warfare' as some wise words I heard recently put it. It’s not just about what we see; it's a spiritual battle against unseen forces, and understanding this has been transformative for my faith journey. The Apostle Paul, in his wisdom, urged us in Ephesians to put on the full armor of God so we can stand firm against the devil’s schemes. But what does that really look like in our daily lives? Let's break down each piece and how I've learned to actively wear it. First, the Belt of Truth. The enemy thrives on lies and confusion. For me, anchoring myself in God's truth, especially when doubt creeps in, is vital. Just as Paul advised Timothy, we must hold fast to sound doctrine and not be swayed by every wind of teaching. This truth grounds me, stopping me from being easily deceived. Next, the Breastplate of Righteousness. Living right isn't just about following rules; it's about protecting my heart from shame and condemnation. When I choose to do what's honorable and align my actions with God's will, I feel a spiritual strength that shields my emotions from the darts of guilt and insecurity. Then there are the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace. Being ready to share the hope I have in Christ grounds me. It reminds me of the bigger picture, that we are ambassadors for God’s kingdom, not the 'kingdom of darkness' led by 'Satan'. This readiness helps me stand firm, even when the world around me feels chaotic. The Shield of Faith is where I often feel the most attack – doubt, fear, and anxiety. Learning to actively raise my shield, trusting God's promises even when things look bleak, has been a game-changer. It literally extinguishes those fiery darts the enemy throws, preventing them from penetrating my heart. The Helmet of Salvation protects my mind, which is often the primary battlefield. Protecting my thoughts with the assurance of my salvation in Christ keeps me from falling into despair or self-pity. Remembering the 'savior's' sacrifice and my identity in Him brings so much peace amidst mental warfare. And finally, the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. This isn't just for reading; it's for speaking out loud against the lies! When I face anxiety, I literally speak scriptures over myself. When temptations arise, I declare God’s promises. It’s a powerful offensive weapon that actively combats the enemy's whispers. It’s a constant struggle between 'two kingdoms,' light and darkness. Understanding this reality helps me discern where the attacks are coming from and how to respond with God's power. We aren't fighting flesh and blood but spiritual forces. Ultimately, our victory comes from the 'Savior' Jesus. He already won the war, and we fight from a place of victory, not for victory. This realization transforms how I approach every challenge. So, if you're feeling weary in your 'spiritual warfare,' remember: you have a divine arsenal. Put it on daily, trust in Him, and stand firm!

Amen! 🥰
