The perfect day. 📍 Thrifting at the Sedona goodwill. Small store but full of so much product! Highly recommend. #thrifting #thrifttok #perfectday #traveltok #thrifted
When I planned my trip to Sedona, I honestly didn't expect thrifting to be a highlight, but let me tell you, the Sedona Goodwill completely stole my heart! It truly was part of my 'perfect day' in this stunning red rock country. You know how some Goodwill stores can feel a bit overwhelming, or sometimes picked over? This one felt different. Even though it's a small store, it's absolutely packed with treasures, almost like a carefully curated boutique, which was such a pleasant surprise. I remember walking in, and the first thing that struck me was the vibe. It felt welcoming and organized, making the hunt for hidden gems even more enjoyable. My goal was just to browse, but I ended up with 'full arms/bags' by the time I left! One section I always hit up is the home goods, and this Goodwill did not disappoint. I found some absolutely 'cute glassware' – unique little vases and some charming vintage dishes that are going to look amazing in my kitchen. It’s wild what people donate, especially in a place like Sedona where so many creative and unique individuals reside. Then I moved onto the book section, and I could have easily 'spent 30 minutes looking at books' alone! They had a surprisingly diverse collection, from local guides about Sedona's trails and vortexes to popular fiction and even some vintage cookbooks. It’s always fun to imagine the stories behind the books and who owned them before. And of course, no thrifting trip is complete without a peek at the 'clothing' racks. While I didn't find any big fashion hauls this time, I did spot some interesting scarves and a really unique embroidered jacket that almost came home with me. The quality of donations here seemed a step above what I usually see. What made this experience even better was knowing I was thrifting in Sedona. There's just something magical about finding pre-loved items while surrounded by such breathtaking natural beauty. It's not every day you 'go thrifting with a view like this,' even if the view isn't inside the store, the overall atmosphere of being in Sedona really adds to the charm of the experience. My advice? Don't rush it. Take your time sifting through the racks, especially the glassware and book sections. You never know what local artisan piece or forgotten gem you might uncover. It’s a fantastic way to find unique souvenirs that tell a story, rather than just buying something mass-produced. If you're ever in Sedona and love a good treasure hunt, you absolutely have to stop by this Goodwill. You might just find your own 'perfect day' treasures!
