I recently tried the Starbucks apple pie bar alongside their jasmine cirrus tea, which I initially planned to enjoy iced but ended up drinking warm due to the cold weather. The apple pie bar has a great balance of sweetness and spice, with a flaky crust that perfectly complements the apple filling. It felt satisfying as a light dessert or snack during my afternoon coffee break. The jasmine cirrus tea was a pleasant surprise. While the tea is often recommended to be served iced, drinking it hot brought out its floral notes more intensely, making it calming and soothing. This tea pairs surprisingly well with the apple pie bar, as its delicate jasmine aroma cuts through the richness of the pastry. One detail I noticed on the packaging was the mention of "commercially compostable" materials, which aligns with Starbucks' efforts towards sustainability, making this choice appealing for eco-conscious consumers.
