weekly report [1/19 - 1/25]

reading: i’m almost done with "the moonblood prince"... i really like it but this week has been heavy so unfortunately doomscrolling has been getting in the way of me reading and doing other things. hopefully, i finally finish it this week. on the other hand, i started re-reading "soul eater", so at least that's good! 📚

eating: i've really been into cereal this week, i had it almost every day 🥣 i also really liked my homemade frappucino😋

playing: again, doomscrolling really messed me up this week but i did pick up picross on my switch for a bit! and of course i kept on playing emoji blitz because i just can't seem to stop 📱

obsessing: nurses at my job keep making the little glove dolls and hiding them all over the place, i'm always looking for them now like 'where's waldo'. they're so cute, i love them. plus, i am still consistently using finch! can't believe how helpful it's been 🐥

recommending: this week i started watching emilia clarke's new show and i already recommended it to three people! i love both actresses, the costuming, the soundtrack and of course the plot is great so far! 🕵‍♀️

treating: the cafeteria at work finally got nutrageous bars back in stock so you know i got some 🍫 later in the week i found a copy of one of carrie fisher's books for only a few buckd so of course i treated myself and plan on reading it next 😄

album: yet another great thrift find; this week i picked the beatles' 'magical mystery tour' and really enjoyed it! i was a bit familiar with some of the songs because of "across the universe" but i really liked the original versions. my favorites were 'fool on the hill', 'i am the walrus' and 'penny lane'. rating: 4/5 💿

movie: i'd only ever seen the tim burton version so i figured it was time to watch the original "willy wonka and the chocolate factory". i loved the look and atmosphere of the movie, gene wilder was fantastically unhinged as wonka and the music is iconic. i wish the musical numbers had been bigger and the end not so abrupt but overall i can see why it's such a classic. rating: 4/5 🏭
