I’m 37. Not young. Not old.

... Read moreAs someone who is 37, I often think about how the environment we choose profoundly influences our growth and mindset. The saying 'You are the average of the five people you hang out with' truly resonates with me; surrounding yourself with supportive and ambitious individuals can transform your outlook and opportunities. In my 20s, I learned it’s important to take risks and build skills incrementally — a mindset of 1% daily improvements that compound over time. This foundation helped me pursue my goals more boldly in my 30s. I realized that values and temperament shape how we respond to life's challenges, so aligning with people and workplaces that reflect your core values is essential. I’ve also come to appreciate that personal branding isn’t about vanity—it’s about showing up authentically and providing value both online and offline. In today’s world, attention is indeed a new currency, and maintaining genuine connections can open doors. Regarding well-being, I’ve learned to prioritize physical, mental, emotional, and financial health to stay sharp and resilient. Neglecting any aspect can accumulate detriment over time, so starting self-care routines now is an investment in your future. Lastly, walking alone at times has been necessary for me when values didn’t align with those around me. It’s better to walk your path with integrity than to settle for comfort that compromises who you are. Managing ego and expectations in relationships helps maintain peace and growth. Reflecting on these lessons, I encourage anyone in their late 20s to early 40s to embrace self-discovery, choose environments wisely, and stay accountable to their growth journey. It’s a lifelong work-in-progress but incredibly rewarding.

I’m 37. 9 money cheat codes I wish someone had told me more in my 20s. While most of these are on hindsight, the relevance of a forward-looking outlook and having resourcefulness don’t vary too much. #insurancesg #lemon8finance #moneysmart #investingsg #wealthgoals

Animal blood sacrifices in the Old testament is not historical
We see in many places such as Hosea 6:6 and Psalm 40:6 that God rather have mercy, and Isaiah 43:25, Micah 7:18, Isaiah 55:6-7 and many places that God doesn't require blood sacrifices for forgiveness. This would place Exodus 20:24 as a contradiction during the time of moses. But did God actual
