Our focus shoudl be on undermine the system fascism creates, not the current face of fascism
It's important to recognize that simply exposing or releasing files about political figures, such as the references to Trump and the incredible power consolidation mentioned, is unlikely to topple entrenched systems of fascism on its own. Fascism thrives not just through individual leaders but through structural inequalities and the concentration of power among the top 1%. To effectively challenge fascism, we need to address how economic and political systems perpetuate authoritarian control. Workers and grassroots movements play a crucial role in this struggle. By organizing and building collective power, they can disrupt the mechanisms that allow fascism to flourish. Historical examples show that fascist regimes often gain strength during times of economic insecurity and social division, meaning that solidarity and economic justice are essential components of resistance. Furthermore, focusing solely on the immediate faces of fascism risks overlooking the underlying conditions that give rise to it. These include systemic racism, economic exploitation, and legal frameworks that suppress dissent. Engaging in long-term efforts to rebuild democratic institutions, promote equity, and empower marginalized communities is vital to undermining fascism sustainably. In summary, the fight against fascism must go beyond targeting individual leaders or dramatic revelations. Instead, it requires a comprehensive approach aimed at dismantling the systemic structures — including extreme wealth disparities and worker disenfranchisement — that enable fascist power to consolidate and persist.
