It’s actually not that you don’t care. It’s most likely that you don’t know, and that’s fine. That’s most of what my page is, but I don’t wanna hear any fucking moral superiority from people that have no clue what they’re talking about

2/14 Edited to

... Read moreIn the realm of political discourse, it's common for debates to devolve into partisan blame games where each side highlights only the flaws of the other. However, this approach often ignores the nuanced reality that policies from both major parties have caused tangible harm to communities. From immigration enforcement under Democratic administrations to foreign battles influenced by liberal policies, the consequences affect real people whose experiences are often overlooked. I've come to realize that understanding and empathy are missing when people claim moral superiority without acknowledging the full spectrum of political impacts. It’s not about defending one party over another but about recognizing that affected communities deserve genuine concern and constructive conversations that go beyond partisan finger-pointing. Critiquing political figures like Gavin Newsom or Kamala Harris should not be about disrespect but about holding all leaders accountable for their policies' tangible effects. Similarly, discussing the use of ICE or military engagements isn't about loyalty to a politician but about addressing the real pain inflicted on families and communities. When engaging in political discussions, I try to remind myself and others that the goal should be pragmatic dialogue aimed at minimizing harm, rather than winning arguments. Sometimes this means biting my lip and focusing on solutions rather than rhetoric. It’s challenging but essential if we want to foster a more respectful and effective political conversation. Ultimately, caring about a community means understanding the multifaceted ways in which policies affect people’s lives and recognizing that solutions require cooperation and pragmatism, not hostile exchanges or dismissive moral superiority.

Scientific diagrams illustrate memory trace and neural connections. Text overlays explain that memory involves neural connections, requiring time for links to form and strengthen, and that cramming results in weak brain connections.
A scientific paper shows graphs and protocols related to memory. Overlays state that spaced learning creates stronger memory, lasting links build between sessions, and specific intervals (e.g., 10-10-5-30 mins) maximize long-term memory signals.

why spaced repetition works at the brain level, and how to use it for real… If you’re still cramming the night before your exam like it’s 2012… bestie, we need to talk 🧠💔 Your brain needs space to make things stick. Not space as in “I need time” but literal time between learning sessions.
