Eat like a local !

To me nothing is more NYC than a kitschy cafe . Yup I stand firm in that . Maybe even more so than pizza shops and bagel spots. Those are grab and gos ! If your in a cafe you are there to stay . Cafes are definitely our third place.

Anyway here’s the run down :

Kopitiam

A cute lil Malaysian cafe. I WILL BE BACK. For food (not pictured) I had soft boiled eggs. Be careful this is a runny egg Stan account. It was yummy but a perfectly cooked egg is still just an egg 🤷🏾‍♀️ let’s have a little commotion for the drink. I had a Hor Ku Sai. It was delicious. It is a coffee with condensed milk and milo. It was smooth and chocolate. I can best describe it as an elevated hot chocolate.

Partybus Bakeshop

The aesthetic drew me in. I’m entering my soft girl era and sitting in the place made me feel so dainty or ‘ coquette ‘🥴 anyway I ordered half a baguette with butter and house made jam. Let me telll youuuuuu. This jam stole the show. They need to throw it in a jar and sell it . The best blueberry jam I have ever had . If you are scared of carbs this is not the place for you. The best part ? They offer baking classes !

Sooooooo.. are you gonna check them out ? If you have a favorite cafe let me know in the comments 👇🏾
