H Mart📍 K Town , NYC

Chances are if you found yourself in Koreatown then you stumbled across H Mart . You probably walked past it on your way to KBBQ or karaoke. But consider this your sign to go in .

It is not your average supermarket! Yes of course there are regular groceries but there is so more . Downstairs you can find all the snacks and goodies and everything that’s viral on TikTok right now. ( Go grab that mango ice cream) but upstairs is where the magic happens !

There is a food court when you can grab some food and sit down and relax. If you have been wanting to try Korean skincare and makeup this is heaven ! & they always seems to be on sale . If you don’t mind standing in line they even have a photobooth where you can pose with friends! You can easily kill an hour or two here .

💭 Will you check it out on your next trip to New York ?

Koreatown
2025/3/6 Edited to

... Read moreIf you're ever wandering through Koreatown in NYC, you've probably seen the iconic exterior of an H Mart Asian Supermarket. But let me tell you, stepping inside this particular H Mart location in K-Town is like unlocking a whole new world, far beyond what you'd expect from a typical grocery store. I always recommend going in, even if you just planned on passing by! When you first walk in, you'll notice it's super bright and organized – a truly modern supermarket interior. The ground floor is a treasure trove, especially if you're hunting for those viral TikTok snacks or trying to find unique Korean ingredients for your next cooking adventure. I always make a beeline for the snack aisle because they have everything from trending mango ice cream bars to spicy ramyeon and all sorts of delightful Korean candies. You'll also find fresh produce, specialty sauces, and a fantastic selection of Asian beverages. It's a fantastic spot to stock up on authentic Korean groceries and discover new favorites. But the real magic, for me, happens upstairs. That's where you'll find an amazing food court offering a variety of delicious Korean dishes. It's the perfect place to grab a quick, authentic meal after all that shopping. I've tried everything from sizzling bibimbap to comforting tteokbokki, and it never disappoints. It truly feels like a mini-Seoul right in the heart of Manhattan. It's a great spot to sit down, relax, and refuel before you continue exploring. And for all the K-beauty enthusiasts out there, prepare to be amazed! This H Mart location boasts an incredible section dedicated to Korean skincare and makeup products. I've seen display cases filled with everything from popular sheet masks and serums to elaborate makeup palettes, often at really competitive prices. It's my go-to spot for stocking up on my favorite brands like COSRX, Innisfree, and Dr. Jart+, and I always seem to find amazing sales. It’s definitely a must-visit if you're looking to dive into the world of Korean beauty. You can easily spend an hour just browsing here. Beyond the food and beauty, there’s even a fun photobooth where you can capture memories with friends – a perfect end to a unique shopping and cultural experience. Whether you're looking for specific H Mart snacks, want to explore a comprehensive Korean supermarket interior, or are just curious about what makes H Mart Koreatown NYC such a special place, trust me, it’s worth setting aside an hour or two on your next trip to New York. It's more than just a store; it's an immersive dive into Korean culture.

KO'LLECTION I finally visited KO’LLECTION outlet in Koreatown, NYC — here’s my honest review 💕 ✨ The good: lots of Korean skincare + makeup brands, and the layout feels like you’re shopping in Seoul! 😅 The not-so-good: super small, really crowded, and I spent $70 for just a few items.
