As a Colorado mama, I’m not just watching—I’m calling. 📞 We’ve seen the violence on video, and we’re done with the "no strings attached" funding. It’s time to protect our schools and hospitals, not fund more abuse.

Help me blow up their phones! 📱👇

1️⃣ Call 202-224-3121.

2️⃣ Ask for Senator Bennet or Hickenlooper.

3️⃣ Tell them: Vote NO on DHS funding without accountability!.

Let’s protect our kids’ future. 👶🏽✨

... Read moreLiving as a mother in Colorado, I’ve witnessed firsthand how increasing federal funding without proper oversight can affect communities—especially our children’s safety and well-being. Last year, Congress approved $170 billion for federal immigration enforcement, which came with no accountability measures to ensure these funds are used responsibly. Meanwhile, vital programs that support families with food, healthcare, and education are struggling to maintain adequate resources. This lack of safeguards is more than a budget issue; it’s a real threat to the safety of our schools, hospitals, and neighborhoods. Many of us have seen disturbing videos and reports of violence connected to these policies, which fuels fear among families about their children’s future. It’s heartbreaking to imagine our kids growing up in a world where taxpayer dollars inadvertently support national nightmares instead of creating safe, nurturing environments. That’s why I’ve taken action by calling Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper, urging them to vote against continuing funding to the Department of Homeland Security without strict guardrails. I encourage other moms and community members to join in this effort. Making our voices heard through calls and messages can demand better accountability and ensure that public funds prioritize protecting our families. This cause goes beyond politics—it's about preserving the safety, health, and opportunities for the next generation. By engaging in this grassroots movement, we reclaim hope for a future where schools are secure, hospitals can focus on care, and families do not have to fear abuse funded by taxpayer dollars. If you’re a parent, caregiver, or concerned citizen, I invite you to make that call with me. Together, we can push for legislation that supports our communities with integrity and compassion.
