Comment down your worst objection in sales

... Read moreIn my years of experience in sales, handling objections is one of the most crucial skills you can develop to close more deals. The term "objection handling" is often misunderstood; it’s not about arguing with prospects but understanding their concerns and addressing them empathetically. One of the worst objections I often encounter is "It's too expensive." Initially, it can feel like a total blocker, but over time I learned to turn it into an opportunity to demonstrate the value and ROI of the product. For instance, I share stories or case studies of how other customers saved money or increased revenue by using the solution. Another common obstacle is the "Need to think about it" objection. It requires patience, respect, and a follow-up plan that keeps the conversation going without being pushy. I usually ask gentle, open-ended questions to explore what exactly needs more consideration and offer additional resources or demos. The "I'm happy with my current provider" objection often signals the prospect’s loyalty but also a chance to differentiate your offer. I emphasize unique features, customer service advantages, or personalized support that they may not find elsewhere. Consistency in practicing objection handling methods not only builds confidence but also strengthens relationships with clients. Remember, every objection is a sign the prospect is interested; they just need some reassurance. Sharing your toughest objection can invite advice and new strategies from fellow salespeople, making us all better at our craft.

Fired me in 3 hours on my FIRST day of work…😭
I worked at a clothing store on 14 Feb 2026 ( Sat), 2 days before reunion dinner, and it was honestly one of the worst work experiences I’ve ever had. I had no experience in the clothing industry, and I had never even stepped into this store before, even though I had walked past it many times.

How to Say No to a Wellness Package Sales Pitch
My only luxury in life is that, every weekend, I treat myself to a one-hour body massage. Perhaps because it’s the F1 weekend in Singapore, many people in my neighborhood are not going to town, and the massage place that I patronize weekly is fully booked. Undeterred, I visit a massage place
