Use Fujifilm’s Official LUTs on DJI Pocket 3
Fujifilm has released its official cinema-grade LUTs, and many creators are already using them.
But applying them directly is not correct.

We all see those stunning videos online, and often, the secret sauce is a well-applied LUT, especially the iconic Fujifilm LUTs. But for ages, I was just guessing, trying to import random filters, and hoping for the best. If you're searching for 'Fujifilm LUTs' or 'Fujifilm LUT' for your DJI device, you're probably looking to elevate your video game, just like I was! So, what exactly are LUTs, and why are Fujifilm's so popular? Think of a LUT (Look Up Table) as a color preset. It takes your raw or flat footage – like the D-Log M profile from your Osmo Pocket 3 or other DJI Action cameras – and transforms its colors, contrast, and saturation in a specific way. Fujifilm, with its rich history in film photography, has developed distinct color science that many videographers adore. Applying a Fujifilm LUT, like REALA-ACE, ETERNA, or even a GR Positive or GRP Warm style, can instantly give your digital footage the warmth, depth, and character of classic film stock. It's truly amazing how a simple Local Filter can drastically change the mood of your scenes, giving you that desired cinematic look. My journey often started by filming in D-Log M, which gives you the most flexibility in post-production. The key is to understand that D-Log M footage is designed to be color graded. Trying to apply a Fujifilm LUT directly to standard color profiles usually leads to over-saturated or unnatural-looking results. That's why the original article emphasizes the "proper way" – it's about matching the LUT to the right type of footage. Once your footage is shot, you'll typically bring it into a video editing app or even within the DJI MIMO app if it supports advanced Filter List management and Import functions. I've found that importing these .cube files can be a game-changer, allowing me to manage my Local Filter library efficiently. When applying the LUT, remember it's a starting point, not always the final destination. After applying a REALA-ACE or ETERNA LUT, I often make minor adjustments to exposure, white balance, or saturation to fine-tune the look to my specific scene. This ensures the cinematic feel is there without looking too 'filtered.' Experimentation is key! You might find that a GR Positive works wonders for outdoor scenes, while a GRP Warm adds a cozy touch to indoor shots. The good news is, once you get the hang of it, the process of applying these filters to your DJI Pocket 3 footage becomes second nature, and the results are incredibly rewarding. It totally transformed my videos from good to genuinely stunning!
