Motherhood thoughts

7/8 Edited to

... Read moreMotherhood is one of the most profound experiences that connects us to the past and the future simultaneously. From my own journey, I’ve realized that every child is not just a new life but a living bridge of family heritage, carrying traits from parents, siblings, and even grandparents. This intergenerational connection creates a unique tapestry, rooted in love, resilience, and shared stories that shape a child’s identity. Children, in their innocence, harbor so much wisdom and potential. They carry more than just genetic traits; they inherit the emotional legacies and dreams of those who came before them. This realization can deepen the way we see and support our children. For example, understanding that a child’s behaviors or emotions may reflect family patterns helps foster empathy and patience. I’ve often reflected on how children hold the pen to their life’s story, building on a foundation laid brick by brick by previous generations. This imagery helps me embrace the responsibility and privilege of motherhood, nurturing not only the physical well-being of my child but also their emotional resilience and sense of identity. Sharing these thoughts with other parents has shown me that many of us feel this deep connection and responsibility. Through love, stories, and intentional parenting, we empower our children to write their unique chapters while honoring their roots. Motherhood, therefore, is not just about raising a child but preserving and enriching a legacy that transcends time.

Things normalized in motherhood that aren’t normal
There’s a-lot more we go through that stays unsaid. We need to share more of those realistic moments and know we are all struggling in the same way, it’s sad that society has made these common and normalized in motherhood. It’s just another reason to believe that we are amazing.🩷

Raw Motherhood thoughts
To the mamas who wonder if it all matters—the sleepless nights, the endless messes, the giving of every piece of yourself. I know it feels like an uphill climb, and you’re left asking, ‘Is this enough?’ But one day, you’ll look up and see the heart and soul you poured into your child blooming in fr

Sometimes the thoughts scare you. Sometimes the thoughts shame you. And sometimes, you’re just too tired to fight them. But here’s what I’ve learned: intrusive thoughts aren’t your truth. They don’t define your love, your worth, or your ability to mother well. If you’re navigating this side o

Motherhood RUINED my life…
hello ◡̈ Motherhood ruined my life. It completely flipped my world upside down, leaving me entirely different. But not in the way you might think... Motherhood didn't destroy me; it rebuilt me. It taught me so much about myself and gave me the greatest gift — my entire world, my baby boy (and

A child sits in a white chair in a playroom filled with wooden shelves displaying animal figures and educational toys. A text overlay asks, 'Moms who regret having kids, why?'
I love my child but still feel regret…
This is uncomfortable to say, but I think more women feel this than we admit. Some women regret having children, not because they don’t love them, but because they completely lost themselves. Your time is no longer yours. Your thoughts are constantly interrupted. Even when you rest, your brai

even though they don't listen most of the time, and they are the ones who are "RUDE!" and the attitude is strong with them, I love them all anyway ❤️ I wouldn't trade them for the world....but maybe just one weekend by myself somewhere peaceful...just once?😅🫶😊 #motherhood #le

A child in a shopping cart is shown with two text bubbles. One debunks the myth of a constantly clean house, stating, "We create memories, not museum vibes." The other challenges the need to entertain kids constantly, promoting boredom for creativity.
A young child walks on wood chips at a playground. Overlaid text bubbles address motherhood myths: one states that good moms can lose patience and grow, and another suggests screen time can help a mom be better.

I thought I knew love… until I became a mother. Motherhood introduces you to a new world, a new role as a person & a new kind of love you’ve never experienced before. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my husband. But I would go to the ends of the earth for my kids. Motherhood is undoubtedly o
