What I think about confidence
One of the biggest lies I ever believed was...
“I’ll do it when I feel confident.”
Years passed.
Confidence never showed up.
You know what did?
Courage.
Tiny, messy, uncomfortable courage.
And every time I did something I didn’t think I could...
Confidence quietly grew behind it.
Don’t wait for a feeling that’s built through action.
Mic Drop: Confidence isn’t the starting line. It’s what you collect along the way.

From my own journey, I've found that confidence doesn't just magically appear—it grows gradually each time you face your fears and take action despite uncertainty. When I first started pursuing new goals, I often hesitated, hoping for a surge of confidence to push me forward. But that rarely came. Instead, it was those small, uncomfortable moments where I chose courage over comfort that truly shaped my self-belief. For example, speaking up in meetings was terrifying at first, but each time I did, my confidence took a little step forward. These experiences taught me that feeling ready is often a myth; readiness comes through doing, not waiting. The message "Confidence isn't the reason women become successful. It's what grows after they've survived enough moments they were sure they couldn't" really resonated with me. It reminded me that pushing through self-doubt is a universal experience, not a sign of weakness. Courage is messy and imperfect, but it's also the fuel that transforms potential into accomplishment. If you're waiting to feel confident before trying something new, consider flipping that script. Start with tiny acts that challenge you—maybe a short phone call, a quick conversation, or setting a small goal—and notice how your confidence builds quietly behind each brave step. This mindset shift can be freeing: instead of chasing a feeling that might never arrive first, you create confidence through the journey itself.
