Familiarize yourself with local customs and safety tips, and don't hesitate to reach out for assistance if needed. Building a brief itinerary can ease anxiety as you have a plan to follow, but leave room for spontaneity as well. Solo travel can be addictive; the thrill of independence and exploration can lead to lifelong memories and friendships that you never thought possible.
