Yall, it went by too fast 😪
Looking back at the journey from 5th grade to senior year, especially for the Class of 2027, truly highlights how quickly time flies. As a mom creator, it’s incredible to witness the growth and achievements of these young adults, especially those who experienced schooling through the challenges of the COVID pandemic. My firstborn just became a senior this year, and like many parents, I find myself both proud and a little nostalgic. Graduation isn't just a ceremony; it's a celebration of resilience, adaptation, and personal growth during unprecedented times. One major takeaway I’ve learned is the importance of capturing and cherishing each phase of a child’s education journey. From class projects to sports, from virtual learning struggles to in-person celebrations, every moment counts. For families like ours, the transition from elementary to high school felt like it happened in the blink of an eye. Supporting our kids emotionally through these changes is just as important as academic support. Engaging with fellow moms and senior parents has been a valuable experience, sharing advice on how to manage the 'fast-forward' feeling of these years. Simple practices like creating memory books, encouraging teens to express their feelings, and planning small celebrations along the way have made a big difference. It’s important to remind ourselves to slow down mentally, savor these milestones, and prepare our seniors for the exciting next chapter, whether it’s college, vocational training, or other pursuits. In essence, celebrating the Class of 2027 seniors is not only about the accomplishments on paper but also about recognizing the emotional journey families have endured. I encourage all parents to take a moment each day to appreciate the growth, because yes, it really does go by too fast.

Yep!!! I’m a senior! My elementary is going to throw a small grad ceremony at the end of the year when seniors walk through the school!
