AC chemo side effect

My hair started falling out 2 weeks after my first chemo. Woke up feeling my scalp inflamed and seeing hair all over my pillows and bed. Hair loss is something I already expected but seeing chunks of hair everywhere it is still daunting. I’m losing Not only my hair on my head but even lashes, eyebrows and those hair down there 🫣😅

So now I’m nagging the husband that I wanted to go to the salon for a haircut. He doesn’t want me to go alone ( which I’m actually fine )and wants to accompany me, so I’m waiting until he’s free from work. I’m going bald this time because gurl, keeping up and cleaning all those falling hair is just an arduous task

It’s been an emotional journey but my spirits are still high 💪🏻💪🏻Im losing my security blanket, memory, part of my identity but I will be filling my cup of courage, motivation and faith until I reach that finish line of HEALING. 🩷🩷

slowing down
Brought dad for his day 1/30 of his radiotherapy sessions at the hospital. It makes me sad that he still has to go through these despite the surgery, chemotherapy drip then chemotherapy oral medication even at 78 years old. But also grateful that he is given the chance to live longer because

💝 My Chemo Chapter💝
Chemo was never something I imagined for myself. But when the diagnosis came, I didn’t have the luxury of fear — I only had the choice to fight. What people don’t see is that chemo is not just medicine. It is a whole journey by itself: • The quiet moments before the first drip • The uncer

🍼My Birth Story | Inducement at Glen E 🤍
I always imagined I would go into labour naturally, but my birth story turned out very differently. I was induced and honestly, I didn’t know what to expect at all, despite doing a ton of last-minute research. So I hope this post helps to shed some light for mummies who are going for induction too

Chemo while pregnant?!
I was the youngest in the chemo ward at KKH. It was during Covid, so there were fewer people around. Maybe that helped, but it didn’t make things any easier. The hair fall got to me at the start, until I decided to shave it off. That moment gave me back control. I felt proud to walk bald. Che

3 Things I’ve Learnt Getting Cancer at age 34.
Hey SGFC Fam! Happy mid-week - hope your Wednesday’s been kind to you. 🌤️ A year ago, on 18 November 2024, after a casual 5K run with Mrs, I noticed a small lump on the right side of my neck. That one tiny thing led to scans, tests and eventually, a cancer (Lymphoma) diagnosis. At that poi
