... Read moreCompleting the Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide regimen is a significant milestone in the breast cancer treatment journey. These medications, commonly part of the AC chemotherapy protocol, are known for their effectiveness but also bring challenging side effects. From my experience, the infusion days can be physically and emotionally taxing, often bringing fatigue, nausea, and hair loss. However, reaching the final infusion feels empowering, marking progress towards remission. Starting Paclitaxel next introduces a new phase in treatment. Paclitaxel is typically administered biweekly and is known for targeting cancer cells differently, often causing symptoms like peripheral neuropathy or muscle pain. Preparing for these changes mentally and physically is crucial. Keeping a symptom diary during treatment helped me communicate effectively with my healthcare team and manage side effects proactively. The anticipation of a three-week medication-free rest period before childbirth is a beacon of hope. It's essential for patients undergoing chemotherapy during pregnancy to work closely with their oncologists and obstetricians to balance effective cancer treatment with fetal safety. Sharing experiences in communities like #breastcancerawareness and #breastcancerjourney can provide emotional support and practical tips. If you are navigating a similar path, remember to prioritize self-care, hydration, and nutrition, and seek support when needed. Each step, from chemotherapy medications to planned rest and delivery, contributes to a hopeful outlook and brighter future.

The last couple of days haven’t been easy for me. I’ve been feeling quite miserable putting up with the side effects and it has really drained my energy. Just taking things slowly, resting, and hoping my body settles down soon.

Chemotherapy while Pregnant
Part 3 One of the hardest decisions not because there was no option but because nothing really felt certain. I remember asking to start after my daughter’s birthday. I just wanted that time (and more time) with her. The fear of her losing her mother at a young age made everything harder, espe

She Was Brave. I Was Scared. We Did It Together.
Today, we conquered our fears—doing something we had never tried before. My girl was determined to join her cousin on the obstacle course. She looked at me with that quiet confidence, and I knew she wanted me beside her. I’m terrified of heights, but in that moment, I told myself, I can do this.

My go-to facial spot that accepts CDC voucher
Happy to know that my favourite facial express salon is now accepting CDC vouchers. They do not hard sell and they have no facial packages to offer as well. It’s like K-skin which offers express 15-min facials from $28 but Ombre offer a wider variety of facial treatments. I would usually go for

A pause in time, not the end of us
There are moments when hearts must part, not because the love has faded, but because life asks for space, for healing, for becoming. In that silence, feelings are not lost; they are simply resting, gathering strength, waiting for the right moment to breathe again.
