Both soups are a 4/5, as the flavour was present & i personally like the soup to not be as thick as soup spoon’s consistency :) It was packed with clams and thank god it was homemade mushroom soup 🤣

We ordered medium rare and i thought yea they delivered it but our steak was a little tough to chew… Would it have make a difference if they sliced it for us into thin strips? im not sure.. We also felt that the steak was missing some seasoning ~ but besides that the potato fries was good same goes as the variety of sauces u get to choose from!
Desserts ended our dinner on a high 4/5,
Great portion and burst of sweetness w a mild sourness for the yogurt panna cotta !!

During my visit to Black Pearl Steakhouse, I was particularly intrigued by their clam chowder and mushroom soup, which were both homemade and packed with generous portions of clams and rich flavors. The soups struck a nice balance—not too thick, appealing to my personal taste. I also noticed the 'Sirloin bearnaise sauce' listed, which paired well with the mains. The steak, ordered medium rare, didn’t quite meet my expectations as it was tougher than anticipated. I wonder if slicing it thinner might enhance tenderness and seasoning absorbency. Despite this, the crispy potato fries and variety of dipping sauces offered a satisfying complement to the meal. Desserts were a highlight, especially the creme brûlée and yogurt panna cotta, which provided a refreshing sweetness with a pleasant tanginess. Their portion sizes left me content and rounded off the dinner nicely. If you’re considering a visit, my advice would be to give the soups and desserts a definite try and perhaps suggest a preference for a better-seasoned or more tender steak. I hope Black Pearl Steakhouse continues to improve its steak offering, as the rest of the meal shows promising quality and flavor.
