Oh July .. The only way that I can imagine beginning this, is with giving God all the glory. Because wow does he deserve it. In the lowest moments of my life .. you saw all my tears, heard every prayer, every cry, knew everything that was on my heart, and was with me in the fire every step of the way. Through every ER visit, every needle, every ultrasound, every test, and every doctor’s appointment, you protected my heart and my mind. And I couldn’t be more grateful for the God that you are. I will be honest .. I still have no words for this month. I’ve never had a season where the unexpected happened, then had joy followed up by loss. But if there’s anything I’ve learned as I close out this chapter.. it’s to trust God with ALLLL of your heart. And I’m talking every fiber of it. Because you cannot do this thing called “life” alone by any means. — Proverbs 3:5-6. So despite me being nervous sharing this with you all, I share it not for sympathy or for your condolences. But as inspiration for when life knocks you down .. to lean on God, and get the HECK back up. because this is not the end of your story <3 Usually things like this you keep to yourself, or in the dark. but God has taught me way too much to not speak on what he’s done this past month. And truthfully speaking. This was probably my hardest season yet. The most physical pain I’ve ever been through in my life to be exact. There were so many moments where all I could do was lay on the floor and sit at God’s feet crying out to him because I felt like the pain was something my body couldn’t handle. Or moments where I would sit with so much confusion in my heart because I had no clue why God would allow something like this to happen. Especially because I’m 100% sure that one of the reasons that God placed me on this earth is to have kids. But never in a million years will I regret going through it because wow, the woman that I am now.. is merely only a fraction of who I was before. And the testimony that was built from my pain .. is my greatest one yet . ❤️
To the woman that is currently miscarrying .. yes it’s confusing, yes it’s heartbreaking, yes it’s scary, yes it’s completely normal to question God. But I promise you are stronger than you realize. And I promise that God’s word still applies. For there is a season for every activity that takes place under Heaven ❤️!
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Going through a miscarriage is one of the most challenging experiences a woman can face, both physically and emotionally. From my own journey and conversations with others, I've learned that healing isn't just about the body recovering, but also the heart and mind finding peace. It’s important to acknowledge every feeling you have—whether it’s confusion, fear, grief, or even anger. These emotions are completely natural, and allowing yourself to experience them without judgment is a crucial step toward healing. Faith can be an incredible source of comfort during these times. Leaning on scripture, such as Proverbs 3:5-6 which speaks about trusting God wholeheartedly, helps remind us that we are not alone even when life feels overwhelming. Physical pain during miscarriage is intense and often isolating, but connecting with others who have walked this path can provide support and understanding that makes a difference. Sharing your story when you feel ready, or simply hearing others' testimonies of endurance and hope, can foster a sense of community and reduce feelings of loneliness. One unexpected blessing from my experience has been the growth in my spiritual and emotional strength. The pain reshaped me, teaching me resilience and deepening my reliance on God’s plan. I hope that anyone else facing this hardship remembers there is life and joy beyond the sorrow—and a season for every activity under Heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Remember, this experience does not define you or your future. It’s a chapter in your story, but not the end. Your strength is greater than you know, and your faith can carry you through the darkest moments to brighter days.
