One child grew up on a path that remarkably merged "tenderness" and "strength."
On one hand, he held a violine lever, slowly playing delicate music, intentionally conveying feelings through every note.
On the other hand, he wore a taekwondo suit, stepped down the field with determination, practicing a sharp, energetic posture.
Each day, he learned to live in balance.
From a music rehearsal room that requires concentration and stillness.
To a training yard that requires speed, strength and decision-making in a split second.
Violene taught him to "listen" to both the sound of music and the sound of his own heart.
Taekwondo taught him to "fight" in a disciplined manner and not to succumb to obstacles.
Even sometimes the body is tired or the mind is weak.
But every time he gets up again, that's another step of growth.
He may not be the best in any way.
But all he had was effort, patience and an uncompromising heart.
The music and the cheers on the field can be different.
But both things shaped him into one strong and gentle child at the same time.
And one day,
When he looked back,
He'll know that every drop of sweat, every sound of note
Never wasted.
Because it created him... to be himself in the best way. 💫
จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผู้เขียนที่ได้เห็นเด็ก ๆ ฝึกทั้งดนตรีและกีฬา เช่น ไวโอลีนและเทควันโด พบว่า การที่เด็กได้ลงมือฝึกทั้งสองสิ่งนี้ช่วยสร้างสมดุลให้ทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจอย่างมาก การฝึกไวโอลีนต้องใช้ความละเอียดอ่อน การฟังเสียงโน้ตและความรู้สึกภายใน ทำให้เด็กได้ฝึกสมาธิและความอดทน อีกทั้งยังช่วยเสริมสร้างความอ่อนโยนและความรู้สึกสร้างสรรค์ในตัวเอง ในขณะเดียวกัน การฝึกเทควันโดเป็นการเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่ง ทักษะการตัดสินใจไวในสถานการณ์จริง และมีวินัยสูง เทควันโดช่วยให้เด็กเรียนรู้การต่อสู้กับอุปสรรคและการไม่ยอมแพ้ แม้ร่างกายเหนื่อยล้าแต่จิตใจยังคงเข้มแข็ง การผสานทั้งสองฝั่งนี้ทำให้เด็กสามารถเติบโตอย่างสมดุล ไม่หนักไปทางใดทางหนึ่งจนเกินไป เสียงดนตรีและเสียงเชียร์บนสนามกีฬาเป็นเหมือนการหล่อหลอมทั้งความอ่อนโยนและความแข็งแรงที่ลงตัว การที่เด็กได้เรียนรู้อย่างนี้ ทำให้เขาไม่ใช่เพียงแค่ทักษะที่เชี่ยวชาญเท่านั้น แต่ยังเติบโตเป็นคนที่มีหัวใจเข้มแข็งและรู้จักฟังเสียงหัวใจตัวเอง ภาพของเหรียญรางวัลและใบประกาศ Honor in Heart, Power in Every Honor ที่เด็กได้รับจากการฝึกฝนอย่างหนัก คืออีกหนึ่งกำลังใจที่ทำให้เด็กคนนี้ไม่หยุดพัฒนาและไม่เคยคิดว่างานหนักของตนสูญเปล่า ทุกหยด汗และทุกเสียงโน้ตนั้นล้วนเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างตัวตนที่ดีที่สุดของเขา
