Testing my heat protectants

2025/1/7 Edited to

... Read moreHeat protectants are essential for anyone who regularly styles their hair with heat tools. They create a protective barrier that shields hair from damage caused by high temperatures. Many professionals recommend products that offer thermal protection up to 450°F, like TRESemmé and L'Oréal, which are known for their effective formulas. When looking for a heat protectant, consider factors such as hair type and the level of heat exposure. If you have fine hair, a lightweight spray may be ideal, while thicker, coarser hair might benefit from a serum for added moisture and control. Applying a heat protectant before styling can significantly reduce frizz and breakage, ensuring your hair remains healthy and vibrant. Explore different options to find the perfect match for your hair care routine, and don't forget to share your experiences with others in the community!

Other way to try it is to put the protectant on a Q-tip and get a lighter and see which one doesn’t catch the Q-tip on fire. If it doesn’t catch it on fire then it’s a good product. (My hair lady told me this)
