Aesthetic Brunch + Taro Cold Brew = Perfect NYC😚

📍Outro NYC outro nyc – 816 Broadway, New York, NY 10003

If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing brunch spot in NYC with surprisingly good food and next-level drinks, Outro is it. Hidden behind the storefront is a cozy little outdoor garden that makes the whole meal feel like a mini escape.

🧾 You scan the QR code at your table to order, then sit back while the staff brings everything over — easy, chill, efficient.

🥤 Cream Cold Brew – Taro & Matcha Flavors

Okay. These were SO GOOD we almost cried 😭😭 The cold brew is rich and smooth, topped with a thick layer of creamy, not-too-sweet taro or matcha foam. Must-order. They’re light, refreshing, and honestly better than some specialty cafés.

🍱 Una Ben – Grilled Eel Rice Bowl

Surprisingly generous portion! Tender grilled eel on a warm bed of multigrain rice, paired with a silky tamago egg roll — comforting, satisfying, and super flavorful.

🍝 Pesto Bacon Pasta

A bold, herbaceous basil pesto coats the spiral pasta perfectly. Paired with crispy bacon, cherry tomatoes, and shaved Parmesan. Flavor bomb — though a little oily toward the end.

🧇 Ricotta Berry Waffle

Crispy, golden waffle served with fresh berries and a scoop of creamy ricotta. Not overly sweet — a classic combo that always works.

✨ Final Thoughts:

The cold brews stole the show, but the food overall was impressive — delicious, well-portioned, and beautifully plated. Outro might just become your new go-to for casual weekend brunch or an aesthetic weekday treat. 🌞

Located at 816 Broadway, this café blends an inviting ambiance with a unique ordering system where guests scan a QR code to place orders, maximizing convenience and maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor garden provides a tranquil environment amid the bustling city, perfect for those seeking an escape while enjoying their meal. One of the highlights—the Cream Cold Brew in taro and matcha flavors—is renowned for its richness and smooth texture, crowned with a creamy but lightly sweet foam that elevates the typical cold brew coffee experience. This innovative drink embodies the growing trend for specialty cold brews that combine traditional coffee with regional flavors and creamy textures, addressing increasing demand for novel café beverages. Food offerings complement the drinks beautifully. The Una Ben grilled eel rice bowl features tender eel with multigrain rice and a silky tamago egg roll, delivering a satisfying umami flavor profile. Additionally, the pesto bacon pasta balances bold basil pesto with crispy bacon and fresh cherry tomatoes, although some might find the oiliness a minor drawback. For those with a preference for sweeter options, the ricotta berry waffle combines crispy texture with fresh berries and creamy ricotta, making it a timeless choice. This blend of beautifully presented, generous portions and distinctive drinks makes Outro NYC a noteworthy destination for brunch enthusiasts. Its innovative approach to traditional brunch offerings and focus on customer comfort align well with the preferences of a diverse, urban clientele looking for both quality and aesthetic appeal.
