Recently I’ve been bombarded with ads about PH balancing Femenine washes. And I’ve had the same question ????
How does an external soap balance an internal PH ?
Simple answer it doesn’t. It’s a quick fix but not a long term solution.
Our bodies will naturally balance its own PH. If our PH was actually off by too much you wouldn’t be alive.
Usually what’s going on is a bacterial issue that’s easily fixed by taking Lactobacillus (a probiotic ) and drinking plenty of water.
Water is the best detox we have a human beings.
If you’re dealing with feminine issues I suggest using Gut health and woman’s multi from health by habit. (About $8 each) And drinking half your body weight in oz of water everyday. No amount of external products is going to fix an internal issue.
That’s not to say feminine washes aren’t good for cleaning externally. If you’re issue persist more than a week then see a doctor. These soaps could be making it worse.
The reason I love these products is because the gut health not only increases the amount of good bacteria for your GI system but it also has that lactobacilli in it. The woman’s health vitamin also has cranberry extract which can help prevent UTIs as well.
Every woman’s body is different. If Feminine products work for you. I’m happy they do. 😋
If they seem to not be working. Work with your body internally and take care of it.
This body is the only one we’ll ever get , love it 🥰

... Read moreIt's so true what the original post says – our bodies are amazing at balancing themselves! But sometimes, we need a little extra support, and understanding what throws things off can make a huge difference. I've definitely been there, feeling that familiar 'off' sensation and wondering what I did wrong. It's not always about strong scents or discomfort, sometimes it's just a subtle shift that tells you your pH might be a little out of whack. For me, things like certain workout leggings or even a stressful week can sometimes trigger it, making me realize it's not just about what I put on my body, but what's going on inside and around it.
Beyond just avoiding harsh external washes, I've found that paying attention to my daily habits makes a world of difference. For instance, my diet plays a huge role. I try to incorporate plenty of fermented foods like yogurt, kimchi, and sauerkraut – these are natural sources of probiotics that really boost my gut health, which is so linked to overall feminine wellness. And let's not forget fiber-rich foods which act as prebiotics, feeding those good bacteria! It’s not just about taking supplements; it's about nourishing our bodies with real food too.
Speaking of supplements, the original post mentioned specific ones, and I've found similar benefits from my own choices. When I'm feeling like I need extra support, a good women's multivitamin is key because it covers so many bases. And if you're prone to UTIs like I sometimes am, looking for one with cranberry extract has been a game-changer. It's like an extra shield!
And water – oh my goodness, water! It sounds so simple, but it’s truly the best detox. I used to underestimate it, but now I aim for at least half my body weight in ounces daily, just like the article suggested. It helps everything flush out and keeps things running smoothly, including supporting a healthy vaginal microbiome. When I'm well-hydrated, I just feel better overall, and that definitely extends to my feminine health.
It's all about listening to your body and finding what works for *you*. If something feels off, don't just reach for a quick fix. Think about your diet, your hydration, your stress levels, and yes, those amazing internal supplements like probiotics and good multivitamins for a holistic approach. If symptoms persist for more than a week, or if you're ever truly concerned, please don't hesitate to check in with a doctor. They're there to help us understand our unique bodies even better!
Do you notice any difference?
