Working Hard
My supervisor asked what I was planning to do with the money I earned from working extra hours this week. I told him I'm saving up to buy a new laptop. My current one is six years old and has been slow for a while now. I’ve been using this laptop every day since I got it for video editing, Canva projects and playing browser games. I didn't expect it to last this long and I couldn't afford a new one since I’ve been a stay-at-home mom and wife. I was destitute of money. It seemed like God saw my situation and made my laptop last that long.
I might have to postpone that purchase because our vacuum doesn't function well anymore and I’ll need to buy a new one with my next paycheck. It's more important than the laptop. I also plan to buy my husband an electric smoker for Father's Day next month. He kind of guessed because I told him I’d buy him one. I'm never into giving surprises. 😅 I don't want to be surprised either. If you want to give me something, just tell me ahead of time. I'm not used to surprises because I grew up without anyone surprising me with anything. I don't have a close relationship with people. I'm introverted, aloof, and shy. I have social anxiety. I'm a faulty human being!
