Finally got to try Fat Belly Steakhouse!

Aside from the main steaks, one thing that stood out to me was their sourdough bread served with aioli butter. While the aioli wasn't tangy enough for my personal taste, the perfectly toasted bread combined with the rich, addictive aioli made for a great start to the meal. If you enjoy experimenting with steakhouse dips, you might want to try creating your own aioli at home using simple ingredients like garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil to complement your steak perfectly. When it comes to the steaks themselves, I sampled the wagyu rump cap and wagyu Denver cuts. Both were deliciously fatty but surprisingly light on the palate without that heavy, meaty feeling you might expect. If you usually prefer medium rare steaks, Fat Belly hits that sweet spot where the flavor is intense but not overwhelming. The side dishes really elevated the meal. The Brussels sprouts were a personal favorite—crispy and flavorful with no need for additional seasoning. A well-made steakhouse meal always benefits from great sides, and Fat Belly doesn’t disappoint. For dessert, the tiramisu was good but didn’t quite match the homemade tiramisu made by one of my friends who learned the recipe directly in Italy. Still, it was a satisfying way to finish the meal. If you're a steak lover visiting Singapore like me, Fat Belly Steakhouse is worth a try, especially if you enjoy exploring different cuts and flavors. Don't forget to leave some room for sides and dessert because the portions are just right to enjoy everything without feeling too full!
