私がいちばん迷ったのが「色選び」。CLIOのキルカバーはカバー力がしっかりしている分、色が合わないと“顔だけ浮く/暗く見える”が起きやすいなと思いました。ここでは日本人が失敗しにくい選び方を、実際に使った体感ベースでまとめます。まず、黒いパッケージの「キルカバーファンウェアクッション」は、仕上がりがセミマット寄りで密着感が強いタイプ。ツヤ系よりも肌の粗をフラットに見せてくれるので、色が合うと“加工したみたいな肌”になりやすい反面、首との差が出ると目立ちます。色選びのコツは2つ。 1つ目は「首の色」を基準にすること。手の甲で選ぶと明るく見えがちなので、できればフェイスライン〜首の境目に近い色で判断するのがおすすめです。私は明るさを上げたい気持ちでワントーン明るめにしがちなんですが、このクッションはカバー力がある分、明るすぎると白浮きに見えやすいと感じました。 2つ目は「黄み/赤み」を意識すること。日本人は黄み寄り（イエベ）でも、頬に赤みが出やすい人が多いので、赤みが気になる人はニュートラル〜やや黄み寄りを選ぶと、顔の赤みが落ち着いて見えやすいです。記事内でも小鼻周りの赤みが抑えられたと書いた通り、肌悩みを均一にカバーしてくれるので、色は“補正しすぎない”方向が無難でした。「ダークニング（時間が経って暗くなる）」が心配な人は、朝の仕上がりだけで判断しないのが大事。私は塗ってすぐは明るく見えても、数時間後にトーンが落ち着いてちょうどよくなることがあるので、購入前にテスターが使えるなら腕だけでなく顔の一部に薄くのせて、夕方の色をチェックしています。最後に、黒いパッケージ＝強カバーのイメージ通り、毛穴や肌の凹凸はかなり拾いにくくて、厚塗り感が出にくいのが良かったです。マスクをする日は、最初から厚くのせずに薄く2回に分けて重ねると、密着力が活きて崩れ方がきれいでした。色さえ合えば「崩れる隙のない」系のベースにしやすいので、迷っている人はぜひ首色基準で選んでみてください。
