Read more私がPCサポートでよく聞かれるのが「ひらがな入力したいのにアルファベットになる」「ローマ字入力に戻らない」「カタカナがうまく打てない」問題。結論、まずは“入力モード”と“変換”を分けて考えると解決が早いです。 1) いま打った文字の変換(今回の主役) ローマ字で入力して、まだ確定していない状態なら、F6〜F10で一気に変換できます。たとえば「ekuseru」と打って、F7で全角カタカナ、F9で全角英数字、F10で半角英数字…という感じ。ポイントは“確定前”に押すこと。確定後でも、文字を選択してから同じキーで変わることが多いので、うまくいかない時は選択して試してみてください。 2) 日本語入力そのものの切り替え(英字しか出ない時) 「ひらがなが英字になる」時は、変換キー以前に日本語入力がOFFになっていることが多いです。私はまずここを確認します。 ・タスクバーの「あ / A」をチェック(Aなら英数入力になりがち) ・Alt + 半角/全角 で日本語入力をON/OFF(環境により有効) ・IMEが固まっている時は、一度別アプリに切り替える/PC再起動で直ることも 3) ローマ字入力⇆かな入力になってしまった時 「突然かな文字入力になった」「ローマ字が打てない」時は、IME設定で入力方式が変わっている可能性があります。Windowsなら、IMEの設定(またはプロパティ)から「ローマ字入力」を選び直すと戻ることが多いです。ノートPCだとキー配列が独特で、意図せず切り替わるケースもありました。 4) Word/Excelで“変換できない”時の小ワザ ・入力確定前にF6〜F10を押す ・確定後は文字をドラッグして選択→F7/F9などを試す ・Excelはセル編集(F2やダブルクリック)中かどうかでも挙動が変わるので注意 「半角/全角を連打して迷子」になりやすい人ほど、F6〜F10の変換を覚えると入力が安定します。私はこれだけで、カタカナ入力や英数字の表記ゆれがかなり減りました。
