Fall/Autumn Delays.
As much as I love Autumn 🍂 as well, fall.
It will still take me a wall to let that process.
I mean, just look from my window. 😊
☀️ Summer will return.
But I'm not ready to change my chancletas. 🤣
Usually, my love & I would hibernate to our 🏡 home in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
Who else can relate? 😄
Puerto Rico offers a fascinating blend of seasonal experiences that differ from the traditional fall many envision. While much of the northern hemisphere transitions into cooler weather with colorful leaves and chilly breeze, Puerto Rico maintains warm temperatures that allow residents to continue enjoying summer activities longer. This unique climate creates a special kind of 'Fall Delay,' where the visual cues of autumn like dried flowers and fall decor mingle with the persistent sunshine and beach-friendly weather. Many locals and visitors alike cherish this seasonal blend as it allows for extended outdoor living, light clothing like chancletas (flip-flops), and moments of hibernation in the comfort of their homes. The idea of 'hibernating' in a Puerto Rican home during autumn might differ from more traditional interpretations but represents cozy, quality time with loved ones against the backdrop of gentle tropical breezes. In addition to appreciating the natural environment, seasonal decorations such as dried flowers add an autumnal touch to homes, enriching the atmosphere without disrupting the ongoing summer vibe. This balance makes Puerto Rico a unique destination for those who love fall but are not quite ready to surrender to colder seasons. For anyone relating to the reluctance to fully embrace autumn’s cooler side, Puerto Rico exemplifies how to savor the best of both worlds. Whether enjoying the warmth from a window view or planning a quiet staycation, this lifestyle encourages mindfulness and appreciation for each fleeting season in its own time.
