My brother has another kid

I’m the middle kid (24M) in a big family and I’m pretty close with my oldest brother. About 11 years back, I peeked in his wallet and saw a kid’s photo. He said it was his other son. On the drive to the beach, he explained that he’d hooked up with a woman before his wife, they fought because he didn’t want to quit his music dreams to move with her, and later he found out about the kid.

He made me swear not to tell anyone. Two weeks ago, a 16yo sent me a Facebook friend request. I almost deleted it but the picture clicked it was that kid. We talked and he’s great. He told me he’s been trying to reach my brother but gets no response. I felt terrible so I went to talk to my brother.

He got mad I’d talked to the kid, said he hadn’t told his wife or their 12 year old daughter. I told him to step up but he played dumb. We yelled and his daughter walked out, heard me shout: “He’s your son!” My brother’s a good dad to his other kids after all. I don't know how to handle it rn really...
