“ONE IS THE BRIDE… THE OTHER IS A HARLOT.”
This is a solemn picture of two spiritual paths—one unto Christ, and one unto judgment.
The Bride is the true Church of Jesus Christ: holy, separated, and faithful.
The Harlot is the false religious system: corrupted, worldly, and opposed to God.
The Word of God says:
“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”
— 2 Corinthians 11:2 (KJV)
Paul speaks of believers as a chaste virgin—pure, waiting for the Bridegroom. Jesus is coming for a spotless Bride, not a compromised people. The Bride loves truth, obeys God’s Word, and keeps herself unspotted from the world.
But Scripture also warns of another woman:
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
— Revelation 17:5 (KJV)
This harlot represents spiritual adultery—those who claim religion but reject holiness, mixing truth with error, loving the world more than Christ.
God is calling His people to separate:
“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins...”
— Revelation 18:4 (KJV)
This is the hour to examine your heart.
Are you living as the Bride, faithful and ready for Christ’s return?
Or are you being seduced by the spirit of the Harlot—compromise, pride, and worldliness?
Jesus is coming soon.
“Let us be glad and rejoice… for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
— Revelation 19:7 (KJV)
Make yourself ready.
Repent. Be holy. Stay faithful.
Do not trade eternal glory for temporary pleasure.
Choose this day whom you belong to.
The Bride belongs to Christ.
Do you?
