God never calls His people into a purpose without giving them the grace to endure the trials that come with it. Throughout Scripture, those whom God used were often tested before they were entrusted with greater responsibility. Joseph faced betrayal, David endured years of hardship before becoming king, and the apostles remained faithful through persecution. Yet the Lord never abandoned them.
The Bible reminds us, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." (James 1:2–3). Peter also wrote, "Think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you." (1 Peter 4:12).
When the enemy attacks, it does not mean God has left you. Often it is in those moments that the Lord teaches us to depend more fully on His strength. As Paul declared, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9).
So do not lose heart when your faith is tested. Stand firm in Christ, put on the whole armour of God (Ephesians 6:11), and remember that "greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4). The God who calls you is faithful, and He will give you everything you need to remain steadfast until the end.

Just like the biblical figures Joseph and David who faced immense trials before fulfilling their destinies, I've experienced moments when challenges felt overwhelming. Yet, remembering that the same God who called me to a purpose also anointed me to face the attacks has been a source of comfort and strength.
The phrase, “He didn't just anoint you for the assignment; He also anointed you for the attacks,” has become a mantra in my walk of faith. It reminds me that setbacks, opposition, and suffering are not signs of abandonment but are, in fact, part of the journey. Each trial is an opportunity to lean deeper into God's sufficiency, echoing Paul's declaration that His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness.
In practical terms, putting on the whole armor of God daily — embracing truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God — equips me to stand firm even amidst spiritual battles. This spiritual preparedness, combined with the encouragement from scriptures like 1 John 4:4, which reminds us that the greater One dwells within us, empowers me to face adversity with confidence.
Living with this perspective transforms how we perceive trials; they are not meaningless sufferings but refining fires that strengthen patience and deepen faith. Whether it's personal hardships, workplace challenges, or relational struggles, holding fast to these truths has helped me endure and grow. If you find yourself in a time of testing, take heart. Remember that endurance is a gift of grace, and you are not alone. The God who calls you is faithful and equips you not only for your purpose but for the obstacles that come with it.
